[A DOSE OF HOPE]:
Rainbows may be just beautiful illusions, but the hope they represent is very real….
While children around the world have been drawing rainbows during the Corona crisis, we’ve been filming real rainbows here at the beach in California.
Here’s 1 minute of hope…
Take in these Rainbows for a moment of Reflection.
Gaze at Mother Nature’s multi-colored beauty.
We can always reach out – and be a rainbow in someone else’s cloud. And appreciate a moment of wonder in own dark times too.
Pass it on… and let’s spread hope.
Thanks to all the first responders and essential workers for their remarkable courage and hard work to look after us all…
And thanks to all the children who remind us to hold on to hope, (and to chase the rainbow!).
x From the Lovers, the Dreamers and Enlighten Me…
[Video filmed & produced by Myfanwy Marshall-Blackwell. Edited by Gabriela Escalante].
Here’s 2 minutes of Calm and sweet freedom for you… being swept along with Dolphins.
Ever-smiling Dolphins represent peace, harmony… and playfulness!
Notice how they swim in Pods. They are social creatures, and Bottle Nose dolphins like these are even known to be empathetic; cooperating together to rescue the sick. They have much to teach us.
This is raw, uncut footage from the Great Barrier Reef, Queensland, Australia, kept long to really give you a feel for the experience.
Jump on board and enjoy the ride (and the swim) 🙂
Can you Enlighten Me.. have you been swimming with dolphins? How was the experience for you? I’d love to read your comments below.
TRAVEL – a natural high
Travel not only offers the possibility of high adventure, (and a natural high), but it can also provide a new vantage point, a fresh perspective from which to understand our lives and our world.
But what about when we can’t travel far and wide?
Then the words below might hit home…
“Travel with curiosity. It is not how far you go, but how deeply you go that mines the gold of experience. Thoreau wrote a big book about tiny Walden Pond.”
– Wilferd A. Peterson (1900-1995)
Is there somewhere close by in your neck of the woods where you can go to reflect… and see things with a fresh perspective?
Or to go further afield, is there a trip you could start to plan? Somewhere you’ve always wanted to explore?
Get a buzz just thinking about it!
I’d love to hear your thoughts.
PS. This photo was taken a few days ago by an old school mate in Australia, who climbed the legendary Ayers Rock (Uluru), and then clearly having no fear of heights, decided to go even higher in a helicopter where he took this breathtaking shot. If you have any photos you’d like to get out there, to be a background for inspirational quotes, feel free to post/ message me.
