An introduction to YOGA: Meet Jessica

[Enlighten Me]: YOGA
“Yoga teaches us that we’re not in control”

– Jessica Cervelli, Yoga Teacher

Hi there,
These uncertain times can conjure up a lot of anxiety and stress. But YOGA is helping many people find a sense of calm.
There’s a lot of buzz around “Mindfulness” – being in the present moment. Well, you could say Yoga is like mindfulness – with movement. It can calm the senses, help us feel more balanced, and even be a ‘Reset’ for body, mind and soul!
Meet Jessica Cervelli – a Santa Cruz (California) based Yoga Teacher…
In this short interview, Jessica talks us through a few benefits (and some challenges) from this ancient practice, and much more. Jessica is a gentle guide, gifted at teaching real presence.
May this video be an invitation to be with your breath and ‘be here now.’
Give yourself a little TLC.
Enjoy!…
If you’d like to practice some online yoga with Jessica you can find her here:

A DOSE OF HOPE: The Rainbow Connection

[A DOSE OF HOPE]:

Rainbows may be just beautiful illusions, but the hope they represent is very real….

While children around the world have been drawing rainbows during the Corona crisis, we’ve been filming real rainbows here at the beach in California.

Here’s 1 minute of hope…

Take in these Rainbows for a moment of Reflection.

Gaze at Mother Nature’s multi-colored beauty.

We can always reach out – and be a rainbow in someone else’s cloud. And appreciate a moment of wonder in own dark times too.

Pass it on… and let’s spread hope.

Thanks to all the first responders and essential workers for their remarkable courage and hard work to look after us all…

And thanks to all the children who remind us to hold on to hope, (and to chase the rainbow!).

[VIDEO]:The Fountain of Youth

THE FOUNTAIN OF YOUTH –

Is it possible to feel younger as we get older? Well, for jewellery designer and business man Jerry, from Boulder, Colorado, it certainly feels that way.

He decided to slow down life and find more work/ life balance. And as a result, has made many new discoveries, enhanced his relationships, and found more happiness.

Maybe there really is a fountain of youth, and what a beautiful place to hear about it; at the magical old ‘Chalice Well‘ in Glastonbury, England…

Michelle Krieg

It’s a cold day, pouring with rain and I make my way to the Adelaide hills to meet Michelle.  As soon as I meet Michelle, I am taken by her warm smile and welcoming manner. She shows me around her home and we talk about life, love and family. She is the type of person you meet whom you feel you’ve known all of your life.

Michelle was born in Adelaide but spent six years of her childhood in the highlands of Papua New Guinea where her father was a doctor. It doesn’t surprise me when she tells me that she has lifelong friends from her time in PNG and a mountain of fond memories.  The next three years were spent in England and then it was time to settle back in Australia.

Following high school, teaching was Michelle’s calling and she has been doing this since 1993. …
