[VIDEO]:The Fountain of Youth

THE FOUNTAIN OF YOUTH –

Is it possible to feel younger as we get older? Well, for jewellery designer and business man Jerry, from Boulder, Colorado, it certainly feels that way.

He decided to slow down life and find more work/ life balance. And as a result, has made many new discoveries, enhanced his relationships, and found more happiness.

Maybe there really is a fountain of youth, and what a beautiful place to hear about it; at the magical old ‘Chalice Well‘ in Glastonbury, England…

Life Lessons from Reese Witherspoon

Hi there,

In this video Reese Witherspoon, star of new film WILD, talks starting over, believing in yourself, self esteem, grief, loss, letting go, and letting it all out. And even, how we sometimes repress and take on the emotions of others.

An enlightening and touching interview from “60 Minutes” about her life journey, including taking her career back into her own hands, taking a stand for women, and working on projects that really matter:

Do you relate to any of her emotional experiences? Have you seen her latest film WILD?

[VIDEOS]: How do You Learn to Love yourself?

Hi there,

Did you know that today (Feb 13th) is “World Self Love Day”? The idea is that if we feel good about ourselves and value ourselves first, then we’re more able to give and receive love on Valentine’s Day, and generally find it easier to have harmonious relationships (all year round!).

Today’s videos, Produced by ‘Enlighten Me…TV’,  are intended to inspire a little dose of Self Love and Self Acceptance….

Self Worth is no easy task. Feeling Good Enough; easier said than done right? Self Love: A great idea in theory? That’s why Enlighten Me.tv  is on a quest to explore the practical ‘how-to’s, interviewing experts and people from all walks of life.

This first video features one Psychologist/ Family Therapist’s point of view (Dr Menis Yousry)  [a UK interviewee}.

And here’s a touching and inspiring personal testimony from Comedian and Counsellor (Susan Brame) [an Australian interviewee], who I met on the road, (well, at the beach).

Are you a little too hard on yourself? Could you begin to look at yourself with less judgement, and more self acceptance?

Keep Calm Self Love poster

Wishing you a (self) Loved Up Day! And please do share the videos and help spread the Love!

Tips in Friendship Etiquette [1 min video]

Lessons in Friendship Etiquette –

Is it wise to send a text message to a friend or loved one when there’s something important (or potentially upsetting) to get off our chest?…

Here’s a lesson learned from comedian Susan Brame on thinking twice before sending a text message.

Worth considering: can it wait for a face to face meeting or atleast a phone call?

Also worth remembering that people can react quickly and defensively when instant-messaging back.

It can take courage to say what we honestly feel in person, but it shows how much we value the person and how much we’re prepared to make an effort to work at the friendship.

Thanks to South Australian comedian Susan Brame for sharing her experience.

What life lessons have you learned in friendship or relationships? Do you have a top tip? Or do you have a question you’d like answered? Would love to hear from you.

Time for a heart to heart? [4 minute video]

Hi there,

Myfanwy here. Hot off the edit suite, here’s my new video…

I’ve been filming experts and people from all walks of life as little ‘tasters’ for Enlighten Me…

When I interviewed Hay House author Dr Menis Yousry about Love, Relationships and Heartbreak, he raised a much bigger issue that I felt deserved its own little film.  I’ve called it “#Face_Time”. Although it could just have easily been called “The Love Connection”, which I thought of just as I finished it!. (I think I’ll call the next project that title).

I hope you find it a reflective, calming and heart-touching short film, especially at this time of year.

I’d love to read your comments below.

Wishing you all a beautiful Christmas full of love (and enlightenment!).

PS.  I’m filming and curating videos of elderly people sharing their life lessons. Perhaps you could interview your parents or grandparents during the holidays –  and capture their words of wisdom?

The Big Picture [1 minute video]

Here’s a very short message on looking at the big picture of life.

Sometimes it helps to take a step back…

3 minute film for Sunday reflection

A poignant little 3 minute film, ideal for a Sunday reflecting on the bigger picture of life. Beautifully directed, shot and narrated. The kind of film quality Enlighten Me…TV also plans to Produce/ Exec and Commission, (beyond ‘how to’s) once funding and sponsorship is on board.

Directed by Camille Marotte.

Life: Make every moment count. Make it matter. Make it loving.
